    One of our upstream network providers will be performing scheduled maintenance affecting the Magnus Box datacenter beginning Thursday, August 20 at 11:00 PM EDT. The provider has reserved a maintenance window through 5:00 AM EDT on Friday, August 21.

    Magnus Box maintains redundant internet connectivity at the datacenter, and traffic is expected to automatically fail over to our secondary connection during any interruption to the affected circuit.

    We do not anticipate any significant impact to Magnus Box services. However, Magnus Box Partners may experience brief connectivity interruptions or increased latency as traffic transitions between providers.

    Our team will be monitoring the datacenter and Magnus Box services throughout the maintenance window.

    Magnus Box Partners,

    All clear. The work on our datacenter cooling system has been completed and the Nexus cluster has been returned to service.

    All systems are operating normally. Any backup jobs that were delayed during the maintenance window should resume normally.

    Thank you for your patience and understanding while we worked through this.

    We are currently performing emergency facility maintenance at the Magnus Box datacenter related to an issue with the cooling system.

    A vendor is onsite and actively working to resolve the issue. Out of an abundance of caution and to protect our infrastructure, we are temporarily taking the Nexus cluster offline while this work is completed.

    Backup data hosted on Nexus will be temporarily unavailable during this maintenance. Backup jobs may be delayed or retry once the cluster is returned to service.

    At this time, this is a precautionary shutdown and we will restore the Nexus cluster as soon as it is safe to do so.

    We will provide another update as work progresses.
